THE GESTUT BIRKHOF FOAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS

Champion (male) dressage foals was a Lingh x Werther’s Wels colt bred by Anja and Josef Riss from Medlingen.

The dam Comtessa Corlana also gave birth to First Kiss by French Kiss and was the 2005 runner up at the Southern German approvals in Munich.  The mare is also dam to former regional champion of Baden Wurttemberg, Comtess Ferrara by Dr. Jackson. Her 2009 filly Dysharie in 2011 was best 2 year old mare (champion) at the Baden Wurttemberg show in Weilheim.

A Lingh x Grandus bred colt by Horst Baumann, Stelzenberg, finished 4th in the colts section (8.65). His dam Grosse Welt was champion mare of her breed (she is registered with Rhineland-Pfalz-Saar, so she is a „Zweibruecker“), particpated at the Broodmare championships of Germany and is dam to a former premium stallion by Abanos.

 

FOR THE FILLIES….the foal we wrote about earlier in New News was 6th at the Championships….

Leylana was born on March 13th 2012 and is by Lingh out of Doriana (breeding name Donna by De Niro.

 

Leyana, a Lingh x De Niro finished 6th in the dressage fillies section on a score of 8.25. Bred by family Gruber,  Dam Donna B. produced among others PSG horse Weltino by Weltruhm.She scored an 8.25 and at the earlier foal show, receiving a Gold Medal Leyana received a 9 for her type, an 8 for Body/constitution, a 9 for movement and a 9 for total impression!
