First public entrance Lingh and Karin Offield

The most cheered for horse in Las Vegas 2005 no doubt has been KWPN-stallion Lingh mounted by Edward Gal. He only had to extend his trot to start the crowds cheering and applauding! Just watching Lingh when losing and practising ahead of his winning Grand Prix, made everyone break out in enthusiasm.
Now after less than two years Lingh is back in the USA. After his long quarantine period Karin Offield has the pleasure to ride him everyday. Especially for dressagedirect Karin Offield wrote her new exciting experiences in Wellington. How did she feel at Cosequin Dressage? Karin Offield explains “I cannot say how lucky and privileged I am with my boy.”
“I rode my first class yesterday on my boy Lingh and left the perfect warm-up, literally, in the warm-up. I was so pleased with our harmony and our new working relationship! As I entered the arena for national Grand Prix, he was so excited to return to the competitive arena, he bucked, so my entrance was not professional. It was a life changing decision I made to enter the arena so quickly. Later in the test I had also a problem in the canter depart. He and I were not harmonious. It was not the ride I visualized, but the experience gave me new insight and respect for this magnificent stallion that I love more each day. We stabled 15 minutes from the arena and we rode to and from the show on beautiful bridle paths, thru busy stabling areas and he was a perfect gentleman every step of the way. Today we went for a light work and celebrate. I am lucky and privileged to ride Lingh!
